Paradise Road

Summary

A group of mostly European women is captured by the Japanese on the island of Sumatra during the Second World War, and spend a painful existence in prison camp without word of the war’s progress. This drama looks wonderful and features excellent performances, despite a sometimes-aimless storyline.
