Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs is available in several formats, including a two-disc set on standard DVD and a three-disc combo pack that includes a blu-ray version, a standard DVD version and a digital copy to load onto your computer or portable player.

In all cases, you get the movie in its original widescreen format (1.85:1 aspect ratio), the blu-ray dives it to you in 1080p high definition. Sound options are also more deluxe in blu-ray, where you get the original English language track in 7.1 DTS-DH master audio, as well as dubbed tracks in Spanish, French and Portuguese and subtitles in five languages.

Extras are predictably numerous, including a filmmaker commentary, three featurettes and a good-sized handful of Fox Movie Channel pieces on the movie. You also get several unfinished deleted scenes, a storybook maker and a music video.

There’s a whole collection of ‘Scrat’ content as well, including a pair of short films and five little Scrat featurettes. The blu-ray version also provides ‘BD-Live’, which allows you to connect to the internet to get additional content.
